Frequently asked questions

No. It produces the file their import screens accept. You upload that file yourself, so no system credentials are ever needed.

While you work, your file is kept in two places: in your browser, until you clear its data, and on our server, which deletes its copy 30 minutes after your last activity. Closing the tab or downloading does not delete either one. Cell values are never sent to the AI. Reference tables you save stay in your account until you delete them.

Run the saved template on the new file. If a column moved or a new value appears, DocTransform points it out before you download.

Excel (.xlsx, .xls), CSV and text (.txt) files. JSON and YAML (.yaml, .yml) too.

Yes. Someone on your team can set it up once, and your saved template then runs on its own. The API docs explain how.

Each step shows what it changed before you download. One Undo takes the whole request back, and you can make any fix by hand from the column menu instead.
