What Shopify's importer checks

• Every product needs a price. Shopify help centre

Fix it by hand in Excel or Sheets

1. Fill in any blank Price cell by hand; Shopify treats it as required.
2. Rewrite each price by hand as a plain number, e.g. 19.90 instead of €19,90.
3. Remove the space in Inventory Qty by hand, e.g. 1200 instead of 1 200.
4. Type manual into any blank Fulfillment Service cell.

2. 2. Apply the fixes: type "clean currency in the Price column" to turn €19,90 into 19.90, "convert the Inventory Qty column to a number" to remove the space in 1 200, and "fill blank Fulfillment Service cells with manual" for the empty rows.

Does DocTransform split my file if it's over Shopify's 15 MB limit?

No — DocTransform doesn't split files. If your export is over 15 MB, split it by hand before uploading.

Will DocTransform know which fields Shopify requires or its category taxonomy?

No — DocTransform doesn't know Shopify's schema. Tell it which fields are required in the Health panel, and it flags the blanks for you.

Can I reuse this fix next time I export products?

Yes — save it once in DocTransform and rerun it on next week’s export.
