- Is my file uploaded?
- No. The file is read and checked by this page inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server.
- What does it check?
- The points Xero's own help pages give for a bank statement file: readable dates, amounts written as plain numbers, empty rows, long Reference and Check number cells, and the limit of 1,000 transactions. Each one links to the page it comes from, with the day we last checked it.
- Does it check the Payee?
- No. Xero matches a Payee to the contacts in your own account, which only Xero knows.
