Questions
Is my file uploaded?
No. This page reads your file inside your browser tab, and nothing is sent to a server.
Which files does it take?
Excel workbooks (.xlsx) and CSV files up to 50 MB, with no row limit, and you download the same format back. Have an old .xls file? Open it in Excel and save it as Excel Workbook (.xlsx). The download holds the sheet you fixed, as values; other sheets, colours and formulas stay in your original file.
Which dates can it read?
Dates such as 2024-03-15, 15/03/2024, 3/15/2024, 15.03.2024 and 15 Mar 2024. Two-digit years 00 to 68 are read as the 2000s and 69 to 99 as the 1900s. A time after the date is kept. Any other cell, such as 31/02/2024, is kept as written and listed so you can fix it.
Is 03/04/2024 the 3rd of April or March 4?
The tool looks for dates like 25/12 in the same column, which settle it. When nothing does, it reads them the way your computer writes dates, marks them Check, and shows a choice to switch the order.
Why do I see numbers like 45366 instead of dates?
They are already Excel dates shown as numbers. In Excel, select them, press Ctrl+1 and pick Date. The tool leaves such numbers as they are.
