Fix your first file

Upload a file, fix it, save it as a Template and download the result in a few minutes.

What you need

  • A file to fix (.csv, .txt, .xls, .xlsx, .json, .yaml, .yml), or the Load sample data button.
  • About three minutes.

Steps

  1. Upload a file or load sample data

    Drop your file on the upload area, or press Load sample data to try it without one.

  2. Fix a cell and map a column

    Edit a wrong cell in the grid, then map a column to the name your destination expects.

    • 1 The 64,00 total uses a comma, so a destination reads it as text.

    Row 3 holds the one wrong value.

  3. Save the template

    Save what you did as a template, so the same steps run on your next file in seconds.

  4. Open the Export Studio and pick the format

    Choose the file format your destination expects and check the preview. The formats are listed in Export formats.

  5. Download

    Download the file once the preview looks right.
