Joining files
Bring in a second file to fill the gaps the first one leaves.
One export rarely has everything. Join a second file and fill in the rest.
Say your export has a customer ID but not the customer's name or region. A second file, a customer list, has both. Join the two by the ID they share, and the names and regions land in your file, ready to export.
How it works
Pick the shared column
Upload the second file and point to the column both files share, like a customer ID or an order number.
Choose what comes across
Pick which columns from the second file join yours. Rows that don't match are flagged, not dropped, so nothing goes missing quietly.
Save it with the rest of the fix
The join is saved as part of your template. Next week, run the template again with a fresh pair of files.
